parpar and jiejie gone =(

Parpar and Jiejie just left 2 days ago. =( I'm so lonely. Marmie just went out to do some stuff... So I'm here blogging again!


My flight to Qatar has been brought forward to the 12th of August because my Dad is LONELY there XD. He calls 4 times a day or maybe more HAHA. Just in case you are wondering, Parpar is in Qatar and Jiejie is in Melbourne. She will be going on exchange and I will miss her =(


Since Dad and Jie are gone, it's been very boring. I've been staying at home reading. I just started on 'The Last Lecture' by Randy Pausch. I just read 'A Thousand A Splendid Suns' by Khaled Hosseini(I RECOMMEND THIS BOOK TO EVERYONE!) and 'The Alchemist' by Paul Coelho(errr...it's an OKAY book).


And not only have I been reading, I've been having MOVIE MARATHONS almost everyday at night. Nim's Island(honestly... IT SARKS but the actors are good), What Happen's in Vegas(It's cute =D), Lust, Caution(HAHA Jiejie said its XXX but our CD was bad so we didn't get to that part =( ), and Prom Night(errr... I'll kill the KILLER before he kills me =D). Nowadays movies are soooooooo BORING because the *cough*Americans*cough* are running out of ideas. heh


I'M SO HAPPIE MY LIST IS ALMOST COMPLETE! i have eaten everything...EVERYTHING ON MY LIST except my favourite AMPANG CHICKEN RICEEE!!! OMG OMG i need another round of BAK KUT TEH


Sometimes I wonder why people in Malaysia are so thin. FOOD HERE IS *TOOT*ING GOOD! I MEAN COMPARED TO PEOPLE IN QATAR LA. (i'm sorry to say but...) THEY ARE FAT I TELL U FATTTTT!!! I THINK THEY NEED TO BOOK 2 BUSINESS CLASS SEATS TO FIT AND SIT DOWN. I'm also gaining weight la. OH CRAPPP!


I'm never EVER stepping into TARBUSH EVER EVER EVER AGAIN!!!! my stomach is tired of digesting KEBAB AND SHAWARMA KEBAB AND SHAWARMA ALL OVER AGAIN! grrrr.


I feel that we take things for granted. LIKE HONESTLY, we are SPOILED FOR CHOICE OKAYYYY?? just admit it. there are more than 20 MALLS IN KL(TRY TO COUNT)! there's so much variety of FOOD everywhere! Clothes are also affordable and nice(except the LALA part like in Sungei Wang XD). And you can get BOOKS and STATIONARY just anywhere! Eventhough Malaysian politics is bad(yeah, kinda sark), let's face it. WE ARE VERY FORTUNATE. actually, YOU ARE VERY FORTUNATE. I mean... you get to breathe in fresh air from trees everyday and even see TREES and even rain to wash down the crap. THEN HOW BOUT ME HUH? I dont get any of these T.T


After one year of being away, there's a lot of CHANGE. You might not realise it but there really is. Like the new highways, new malls, and new... news! Like the (*toot*ing) school that bought over the mamak shop down the road in my area. Like the thick(and getting thicker!) newspapers we get everyday about politics. Like old friends who we never thought would be different, both better or worse. Like us too. We are growing older every year. That's scary =S

I think it's been 2 weeks sinc i came XD went back to SSG...SG last week... I can't remember what day (you lose track of time when you're on holiday). and yes, I tried the so-called J.CO Donuts... AND KRISPY KREME IS BETTER WAHAHAHAHHAHAHA!!!! SEE SEEEE??!?!!

the Cumberlands have been close friends with my family ever since we met in Malaysia. They flew here to pay us a little visit and stayed with us. Too bad Yasmine couldn't be here =(. HEY YASMINE WHERE R U?! XD you're missing out in all the 'fun'!





1ST DAY (SOUQ)



it's been a while since I've last came to the Souq. nothing has changed. still the same thing. still th same lousy MALAYSIAN RESTAURANT THAT CHARGES RM 40 FOR NASI LEMAK. still the same.

2ND DAY (VILLAGIO)

ParPar went to work so he left us with the C's. So anyway, we women did our thing and the guys did their thang.

Shopping, shopping SHOPPINGGGGGG!!!! gonna shop more in KL XD

Marmie and Aunt Evelyn went shopping to do their women thang, I had to WAIT for Uncle Nigel's GONDOLA to arrive so I could snap some shots.

HELLO HELLO! HOW COME THE BOAT DIDN'T SINK YET?

Right after I finished my 'job' of taking the pictures, there was this man and his friend who came up to me, speaking in broken english:

Me: Wha? You want me to take a photo of you and your friend?

Weird dude: no... no... I WANT TAKER PICTURERRR WIF YOU

Me: ...NO

I tell you MEN HERE ARE SO FREAKING DESPERATE. GO TAKE YOUR OWN PICTURE LAH GO FIND SOME RAUNCHY GIRL AND TAKE PICTURE LAH YOU THINK I WANNA TAKE PICTURE WITH YOU IS IT? later you TOUCH TOUCHIE ME HOWWW?!?! ........

so anyway, I met up with Marmie and Aunt Evelyn again and went to this restaurant for lunch called..

OMG it's actually pronounced as LENUA or LENOIR.

After eating our SALAD AND BREAD (T.T) we hit off to the new part of Villagio, the more CLASSY PART.

Sadly most of the shops are still closed except for Dior and LV.

Had Krispy Kreme after that. OMG it's ruining my DIET PLAN! SOB

They stayed one more night with us and then left this morning =( I hope to see them again though!

We sent them off to the Airport... And I imagined myself being there TOMORROW NIGHT =DDDDDDDDDDDDDDD
