YESH ANOTHER SURPRISE :D

We had the Friendship Festival and I was really busy painting faces that I couldn't take any pictures. Had a full day coz Prang, Rin, Sarah and Marte came over to get ready for Mikal's surprise :)

My Dad had to drive us to Soukaina's place (that's where we surprised him) and there were like more than 10 freaking roundabouts. I lost count coz I was kinda distracted I guess XD. Can't blame me OKAY coz everything here is yellow and unrecognizable. So Soukaina sent her sis to direct us to her place. FINALLY WE GOT THERE and hid in the kitchen to wait for our Birthday Boy :)

I just finished my Bio test. I feel so much better now :D


Yesterday we had this presentation for U.S History and everyone's assigned different characters from history. It's like we're acting as the same person in history and had to argue with the other people in the panel. So I was this dude called John Muir and I thought it really suited me. He was a naturalist who loved TREES and aimed to save and preserve the environment. So I had to dress up like a farmer and bring a plant (I called him Joey :D). It was so funny coz I was carrying Joey everywhere and people kept asking me what it was for. LOLZ Joey is dying coz my mum keeps forgetting to water him :(

Getting pretty hot now. No more winter :( me so saaad


It's FRIENDSHIP FESTIVAL TOMORROW!!! :D :D
I volunteered to do Face Painting (I need community service hours) and all the little kiddies will be running to me XD I did it last year and had so much fun. The kids are so adorable and they don't scream or shout when you're painting their face.

After Friendship Festival, I'm gonna bake some brownies to bring over for someone's surprise party! (I can't say who because it's supposed to be a surprise :D)


I need to study. Ap Chem is this Monday and I don't even understand half of it *zzzzz*


I dreamt about Chocolateland last night. One of the best dreams after so long :D But it would be better if Chocolateland was real :( I need to meet Charlie so he can bring me to his chocolate factory *nerd alert*


Going to Ritz Carlton tonight for Daddy's function and we're gonna have a buffet! Can't expect much. Doha's food is bad :(

I just know this feeling so well that its within my grasp. We both looked at each other and... everything was blank. It was as if white paint had been splashed in my mind. Your eyes were blank too. I couldn't read them.

It's just infatuation. I should've known better.

I went shopping for your present today. I spent 2 hours looking for it!


It's extremely hard to buy things for guys. I made a list of things: CDs, boxers, socks, shirts and shoes. I went round and round the shopping mall trying to find the perfect gift for you... And I had no idea at all.


It surprised me that I knew so little about you. I don't even know what you're like or what your hobbies are except for techno. I wanted to get you a Benny Benassi CD but figured you probably have tons already. I don't even know what you like. I don't even know you.


So I kept telling myself to just get you something any guy friend would like. You're not special. You're just a friend.


I bought a shirt for you at the end. I know you have one in Lacoste but mine is MORE SPECIAL :) Size M... I hope you can wear it. It'd be kinda embarrassing if it didn't fit XD

I love listening to piano songs. They make me so calm. There's this song called 'Comptine d'un autre' by Yann Tiersen. If you've watched this French movie called "Amelie" then you've probably heard it before. 'The Dragster Wave' by Ghinzu is oneof my favourties... it's on the credits of the movie "Taken".


I feel like punching myself for some reason. I'm so annoyed with myself. I wish I had an extra pair of hands so I could finish my homework quickly. GRRRR T.T

I don't want to think anymore. I just want to shut off.

dreams vs nightmares

I haven't been sleeping well for the past 2 weeks. I'm always lying on my bed for an hour or so, waiting for myself to drift away. I wish I had a switch on the back of my neck and I would switch it off when I feel like sleeping, escaping from the gloominess.


Dreams are as bad as nightmares. Have a good dream about something... wake up and realize that it's not there.


Dreams are places where you escape reality; the compass of both light and darkness...

I find myself sleeping more during the daytime. Right after school, I would take my shoes off and jump straight to bed. I would have the same dream over and over. The dream where you would hold my hand and when I wake up... it feels numb as if you were really with me. When I fall into a deep sleep, my mind is in an entirely different place; let it be a tulip field or a rainy day in some strange wonderland. My mind's playing tricks on me... It has to stop.


My mum says I'm having these weird dreams or nightmares because I'm stressed and unhappy. Your mind is constantly thinking of yesterday, not present nor future. And because of that, you feel tired and restless the next day because you kept worrying about yesterday. That sarks :(

It's not really worth thinking about what happened in the past. Time is too precious to let it melt away. Only present has potential.

I'm an anti-Valentine's loser but I'm kind enough to tell you how it came about :D


Before it became "Valentine's Day," it was actually known as a fertility celebration called "Lupercalia." So anyway, there was this pope dude called St. Valentine who helped to arrange secret marriage ceremonies for soldiers in the opposition and it went against the gloomy Roman Emperor called Claudius II. Claudius was so mean he issued an edict to forbid marriage and sent St. Valentine's to prison. When he was in prison he met a guy, Asterius and Asterius asked St. Valentine to heal his blind daughter. So St. Valentine miraculously healed her and fell in love with her. Before he was put to death, he wrote in a paper "From Your Valentine" and is used until now!

SANDSTORM!

Yeah, so there was this HUGE SANDSTORM YESTERDAY. One of the worst but unfortunately school wasn't closed :(

It was seriously so YELLOW. LIKE LIKE...REALLY YELLOW. I thought my glasses were tainted yellow lol. It's tide down a bit but still really sandy. I can even smell it and taste it ><


Today was INTERNATIONAL SENIOR SKIP DAY. I tell you these Americans have all sorts of 'days.' There's Pyjamas Day, Nerd Day 8-), Environmental Day, and my personal favorite, Halloween :D :D School was so empty today without the Seniors around... haha

I have 7 ESSAYS to finish T.T. Homework overload grrrr.

city centre

I went to City Centre with my parents to watch this movie called "Seven Pounds" starring Will Smith. On the way to get our tickets, we stopped by the art shop to look around. A lady walked in and I could recognize her striking structure immediately.


I called out for her and rushed to give her a hug. I had not noticed how much I actually missed her Russian accent. She gave me a friendly smile and asked me if I was still taking piano lessons. I said no, the truth. When I was talking to her, I wondered if she had missed my vibrance or grudged my naivity. I gave her a nice smile (so she would remember that she met me!) and another goodbye hug. There are times when I'm longing to hear her play the piano... but I guess that will come some other time.


Later, we rushed to the cinema and sat down. The seats in the cinema here are understandably huge since there are just too many fat people in this country (LAUGH LAUGH). If you want my opinion, I think only PATIENT people can watch this movie (Seven Pounds)... The type of people who can WAIT AND WAIT until the end when it only begins to make sense. If you have watched "Thr Pursuit of Happyness" and liked the slow-moving storyline, then this movie will suit you. To be honest, I felt like I was a benchwarmer; just sitting there, allowing the seat to absorb the heat from my body and therefore causing my assh to ache XD. I really love the storyline, but found it so SLOW... JUST SO SOOO SLOOOW. Even my Dad fell asleep. There were moments when I just wanted to stand up and shout lol


I wanna catch up on the new movies. Haven't even watched "Twilight" and "HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL 3"(I can't handle not seeing Zac Efron's hot haircut) yet. And I also wanna watch "The Curious Case of Benjamin Button." For an old man, Brad Pitt is still pretty hot. I watched "Slumdog Millionaire" and I really liked it... I think you should watch it too :D

I didn't see you for such a long time since you DITCHED me and took up P.E :(. But I saw you today coz you said that your knee hurt so you had to stay in the library (where I was at :D :D).

You asked me for some Chemistry help and my heart was smiling. I sat next to you and it was kinda awkward since we hadn't seen each other since Winter Formal. It was all about 'Chemistry.' I didn't have the chance to talk to you much because that girl was sitting right in front of me and I tried to ignore her XD. I didn't even look at her coz I knew she was glaring at me the whole time LOL.


Well, I can live without you since you're not in any of my classes anymore. The more I see you, the worse things get... That's what I want to avoid right now. I might sound like a nerd(which I am) but I wanna concentrate to get my straight 'a's before all these hanky-panky XD I did so well last year and it feels really bad when your grades are dropping :( that's the worse feeling ever!


I can live without you... since you don't see anything in me (EMO ALERT T.T)
