R.I.P MICHAEL JACKSON.

I've never been a fan of him, but I find it kinda shocking. I just feel like he didn't die a happy person.

People made fun of him because of the wrong decisions he'd made. He believed that he was living in his own fantasy land, a land away from the reality of a corrupt world. We only want to believe what we want to believe. So why are we any different?

Sure he bleached himself white and got a nose job. But almost every celebrity has gotten more plastic surgery than he has.

People might think that he was weird. The baby dangling from the window and the molestion charges. A politician might laugh at the negative things Michael Jackson has done. But the politician is only laughing at himself because he know's that he's no different.

Michael Jackson. Thank you for your awesome music. "Thriller" is my favourite song and always will be.

I'M SO BORED! I think the Grim Reaper is busy. Too many people dying of boredom.

Everyday passes. But kinda weird of me t keep track of time. Normally I would forget about what day it is.

I know the Swine Flu outbreak is spreading like crazy. FYI, the symptoms of Swine Flu are:
- fever, cough or sore throat
- nasal congestion
- vomiting, diarrhea, fatigue...

Okaaay. So everyone has swine flu then. I think it is just too OVER-EXAGGERATED. It is curable and it can be treated. There are MORE people dying of AIDS/HIV than SWINE FLU! So why not all the scientists put their focus on OTHER diseases that are INCURABLE to make them CURABLE.

STOP MAKING SWINE FLU A BIG DEAL! It has been reported that there are about 14 cases in Qatar. People wear the masks as if we're all gonna die if we don't wear them. But I don't think the H1N1 virus will survive in this heat XD

Anyway, I'm not asking for swine flu. I don't want to be kept in some cage for a week or 2, knowing that I only have a few weeks to spend in KL. SO H1N1 VIRUS, I HOPE YOU DIE!!!! :)

I want to shop and eat in peace... in a virus-free area :D

Bob Sinclar's Beach Party @ Marriott

BOB SINCLAR IS IN DA HAUSSSS 8)

My FIRST Concert/ Beach Party EVERRR! :)

Honestly, I've never heard of Bob Sinclar in my entire life. I have heard his music, but when it comes to techno you don't usually ask who the DJs are.

So anyway, we had our cousinly meeting once again. Went to cousins' for dinner (my aunt is an amazing cook!)

It was from 8.00pm to 2am but we didn't need to rush. Akib was right when he said Bob Sinclar would only appear after 10pm or something.

So we took our time :)

We arrived at around 8.30pm and it was sooo empty! It was kinda lame coz we were put in the UNDER 21 SECTION. I think my sister was the most humiliated coz she is 22 years old, but she decided to stick with us. The above and under 21 were separated by fences and big ass guards, even though we paid the same amount of money! UNFAIR!

It was a very 'funny' section. The moment we stepped in, we just saw 12 year olds running around. Some kids even brought their parents! What a strange sight.

It was freaking 42 degrees celsius or something and we weren't allowed to bring water in.They only sold bottles of water and cans of red bull for 20 bux each! It was blardie expensive. It was kinda lame coz they didn't allow any alcohol to be brought in or sold... Only in the ABOVE 21 SECTION.

Everyone knows how dangerous Li-Shan can be after gobbling down 2 cans of Red Bull XD

The music was loud and pumping, by a local DJ but everyone refused to dance until DJ Bob Sinclar showed up.

I think we were the ones who danced like crazy. What was stupid was that the ABOVE 21 SECTION could dance on the stage, directly in front of the DJs and the cool lights, while the UNDER 21 SECTION was restricted in a really secluded area. Like no joke, there were 22 guards just right there! 7 were in front of us and they were mean :(

I saw some of my friends there, some seniors who I'm not close to. But they were nice enough to say hi to me.

By 10.30pm, after 2 and a half hours of waiting, DJ Bob Sinclar was no where to be seen. I was getting kinda cheesed off by then.

It was so freaking hot, I think we went to the bathroom like 10 times (There was AC in the bathroom!).

I really felt sorry for my sister coz she's not used to the heat here. Luckily we were in dresses unlike the other people who were wearing pants!

By 11.30pm, my feet were so tired and FINALLY THE ALMIGHTY BOB SINCLAR came out! I was drenched in sweat! Big Ali was singing next to him. And he was BIG, NO KIDDING, like HUGEEEEE!

I was also getting annoyed coz all the little kids were shoving into us! They were all sweaty and short and some boys were half-naked and it was disgusting. Some kids looked like they were 8 and were smoking like hell.

It was kinda sad coz some really... REALLY HOT GUYS in the 21 above section took their shirts off and flashed their 6 pac at usss!!! But I think the over 21 section was also kinda lame. THEY HAD THE FREAKING STAGE and most of them just stood ad stared like dong dong. All the kids in my section were CRAZY.

I felt sorry for Bob Sinclar. Doha is probably the lamest place he's ever been to XD.

My sister called it quits by the time it was 1am. IT WAS JUST TOO HOT. I really admire Akib for having so much stamina (He was dancing for 3 HOURS STRAIGHT!). My favourite song only came at the end, Love Generation :)

We went to the bathroom again and sat down. Kimmee came to join later.

Even though it was 42C, we did enjoy it :)

Later, their Dad came to pick us up and we slept over at cousins' place. My sister was sleeping like a dead sloth by the time she hit the bed. I couldn't sleep for a while, coz the beats were still pumping in my brain XD

So that was it. Didn't manage to take a lot of pictures coz the annoying kids behind us kept splashing water all over. Took a lot of videos but they're too big to upload.

I really enjoyed it, but could've enjoyed it more if it wasn't so freaking hot.

Marte is not going to be here next year so I promised her that we would go out before she leaves.

So we went shopping :) on the 12th of June, a day after the last day of school.

You can tell that I am pretty frugal with my cash.

While Marte was the one who was really shopping!

She earns her own pocket money during summer and saves it... So I guess she has every right to spend $! My parents would kill me if I bought anything without telling them. That's the problem with asking your parents for allowance XD

So anyway, we just walked around a lot... Looking for cool summer clothes :D

We went for dinner in this Thai restaurant and it was alright. Like I said, food isn't great here but I paid coz it was her last dinner with me :(

I had the cookie sundae and it was sooo GOOOOOOD!!! omg need to go to the gym!

She taught me how to play some card games... and won all of them XD

The next day, 13th of June, I met up with Marte again, plus Abdullah and Katja.

We were supposed to meet at 11am but I was one hour late (I like my sleep okay). I told them to go ahead with their bowling :D

Luckily I didn't join. I'd probably sark at it XD I'd probably drop the bowling ball on my foot like I did the last time HAHHAHAHA.

The lovebirds were fighting to beat each other, but Marte won instead XD

We watched a movie and that was it. I went to Akib's place after that coz my Dad couldn't pick me up.

I'm really gonna missh Marte so much! I really had fun shopping with her :) If only there were more sales and more awesome stuff! But everyone made it awesome :D

Rin is coming back from her holiday today :D I'm gonna meet her tomorrow.

Last week of school '09

I'm so sad Rin couldn't make it for our last day of school coz she had to fly off that day :(

I really had an awesome time in Ap Chem this year despite all the ups and downs and hard work. At the beginning, I really wanted to drop the class coz it was so difficult! But with the help of my classmates and sweet Mrs. Farmer, I managed to survive it! Thank you so much everyone in AP Chem! Without your help I wouldn't have gotten an A as my overall grade :)

We only had 3 and a half hours to spend, 15 minutes in each class.

I didn't exactly get to say goodbye to every single person, but I hugged and cried with the people who have always been there for me.

Two years have gone by fast. I have to admit that I wasn't sociable at first but when I finally decided to give it a shot, I'm never knew that the people that I would eventually meet at ASD would be so awesome.

Thanks for the memories. Thanks for the things that I've learnt. Thanks for the funny yet meaningful experiences. Thanks for everything :)

P.S I need to go to Norway :)
