Pyjama Day~

Initially I didn't want to wear PJs to school. But Prang and Rin were persuading me and I agreed :D

All three of us wore our class shirts :D

It was a bit strange coz the american kids didn't really dress up so much. They probably wear their PJs to school everyday lolz

The Arab Expat lady said she took a picture of it DESPITE being SCARED. She also said as soon as she saw it, it disappeared. Wow. Great story. It actually takes at least 2 seconds for your handphone cam to snap a picture. It looks photoshopped anyway. It's probably a lizard modified into an alien. LOLZ

I saw you walking in the mall... Surprising to see you walking alone. I tapped you on the back and walked with you for a while. When you left, it was funny how my mum said that you were handsome despite looking kinda GAY. lolz I love my mum :D

Oh and someone asked me to prom. It's not a really big deal coz it's just one of my guy friends. It was kinda casual if you compare it to the others. Some guy stuck chocolate all over this girl's locker. Another guy bowed on his knees with a chocolate muffin. HAHA sweet but lame. Why chocolate anyway?... Maybe coz it releases endorphins in the brain that makes humans LOVE or something. lolz

I FEEL SO MUCH BETTER TODAY :D


I managed to do my US History Test about the great depression. We were assigned different characters during that time and had to write a letter to the president... either President Roosevelt or his wife. Anyway, I got this seamstress and she's 33 years old, a divorcee and has a son XD So I wrote to his wife and complained about not getting enough money XD YAH DONE

I also got my AP Chem test back. Like honestly I thought I failed!!! I didn't do so bad after all :D I got 81% which is not that bad I guess :P

Stayed back to have our SPANISH MEETING but we left early today coz the theatre was booked by the Middle Schoolers. I'm so glad we had that talk with my spanish teacher, about how we can't cope with this play coz our exams are coming soon. She seemed to understand so I guess that's good then. I just blabbed what I thought coz I was really stressed about it... I didn't care if she had a knife in her pocket XD but luckily she kinda understood.

My Parpar is also back in KL coz he needed to sort out some stuff. We miss you Daddy come back soon :( He calls my mum everyday and tells us about the NICE AND YUM YUM food he's been eating T.T...

I have my US HISTORY test tomorrow... Have to write an essay about the Great Depression of 1929. :/

Have my SATs on the 2nd of May. I was supposed to explain what it is. Basically, it's a standard test where everyone needs to study on their own and it mainly tests your reading, writing, and math skills. You might think it's freaking easy... HAH. First, your answer 55 questions in 50 minutes. For every question you answer INCORRECTLY, minus points (depending on the level of difficulty). You can choose to skip only a few questions. I find that I do worst in reading because you're are given 5 passages (freaking long-winded ones) and 10 questions for each passage. So that's 50 questions in 50 minutes. Not only you have to speed-read, you have to apply your reading skills to answer the freaking hard questions. In the writing, I usually sark at the vocab coz it's gibberish. They have words like "vituperative," "idiosyncrasy" and crap. I've already started memorising like 50 something words so I don't waste too much time on a question.

I also have this Spanish play to do which is TOTALLY POINTLESS coz we're not even getting a grade or extra credit for this. I DON'T WANT TO BE PART OF THIS STUPID PLAY ANYMORE! I don't want to stay after school until 4PM talking about our script and waste time talking about spanish when I can actually use that time to do something more useful. I've only missed our meetings once, and the rest are too busy with track and all. It's so obvious that this isn't gonna work coz nobody can make it to the meetings and everyone's busy including myself. She probably hides knives in her desk and when someone would tell her to cancel the damn play, she'd probably throw the freaking knife as if it's a dart or something and kill you right there on the spot. My friends also said she probably has the longest and sharpest knife for the kid she hates most. LOL

I feel so unprepared... so left-behind. How can people actually worry about prom at a time like this? LIKE HELLOOO??? There are more important things, okay? T.T... Sometimes I feel it's too late to improve and cover up my mistakes. There's too little time for so many mistakes!

She gently closed the book and let out a smile. The book of dark blue only made her fingernails more prominent... french manicured with the slightest mistake, meticulous and perfect. Her silk scarf fell down to her shoulders, neatly tucked to the side of her neck. Her trimmed eyebrows enlivened her face of olive while her heavy lashes complimented her wide eyes. Through her curved lips, she said:

"I'm gonna ask him out"

Oh. The gay.

"Great." I let out a faint smile.


I find it fascinating how love can change a person so much in just a short period of time. We are willing to groom ourselves to the maximum for the sake of pleasing someone. How far would you go if you really loved a person?

As I smiled at her, it struck me that maybe I'm not meant to love or be loved. When I actually realize my adoration for someone, the bad luck strikes. I look at myself as an individual not one of a couple. Yet I seem to long for a source of encouragement and support.

Perhaps love isn't a very appropriate word in this context. As adolescent teenagers, what do we actually know about love? Who are we to boast about our so-called love-life to others who have experienced the bitterness of it all?

We are blinded by the Prince Charmings and happy-ever-afters. We rarely take notice of its inequities and gashes caused by our mere naivity and our inability to see the marks.

I picked up my books and left the room. While walking, I saw you with your boyfriend. I just laughed.

middle of Spring Break

URGGGHHH COULD DOHA GET ANY BORING-ER?!

I think I'm going crazy. I really do. It's just me and the four walls and my tiny little window :(

I've been studying everyday since my party and my parents have been keeping their eyes on me (they keep bugging me to study especially Marmie). My AP Chem Test is in two weeks and I hope I get a good grade! I WANT my hard work to be paid off :)

Recently I've been craving for CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES. My mum brought a packet of CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES from the US and OMG IT TASTES HEAVENLY!!!! They sell it in KL for about RM 10 and it's called Pettridge Farm SOFT BAKE COOKIES MILK CHOCOLATE AAARRRRGHHHH!!!!!!! *waves arms in the air* Marmie is scared that I'll put on any more weight because during my break of studying I'd just slouch on da couch and start munching away. She's hiding the cookies now and I'm very upset! :( I've been going to bettycrocker.com for their chocolate chip cookie recipes so I can MAKE SOME FR MYSELF!!! NYEHEHEHE

I get upset when people post YUMMY FOOD in their blogs. YOU MAKE ME DEPRESSED :( especially SOME PEOPLE who've been blogging about how delicious ASIAN food is! BLAAAAAH I'm so hungry now :( I can't wait to go back to KL and eat my yummy food

SPRING BREAK PARTYYY~! :)

Had my Spring Break Partaaay yesterday and I had so much fun, despite the hard work! I forgot to turn off my alarm so I woke up at 6.40am! GRRRR. Then I started to make spring rolls and brownies and I helped my mum make KUIH :D

Initially I invited 24 people but only 15 turned up. The other 9 were either overseas or didn't get their parents' permission. :( But I was quite happy that 15 turned up, coz it was easier to manage and everyone seemed to get along :) I also invited my cousin Akib, who came from Singapore about one week ago. His parents went up to my apartment to eat my Marmie's delicious food, while we had to stay at the compound house to wait for our pizza XD

So later, when everyone ate the desserts, we headed up to my apartment coz I promised I'd play Bagzhan's favorite piano song for her. I don't think they knew how to eat the Malaysian desserts like kuih and the red bean soup XD But my brownies were finished in seconds! :D

So sad when everyone left :(. They went back at 10pm and I was really tired already ><

I didn't realize that hosting a party would take a lot of effort. The cooking, cleaning, and despite being so tired already, you have to be a good host to your guests. My main worry is when people are not having fun and that ruins the whole point of the party. I tried my best and hope that everyone DID have fun :) That's the most you can do anyway. Luckily Akib was around to keep them entertained with his wide knowledge of things like Scientology, which was really random to talk about. But people seemed to be interested in what he had to say, (probably because of his kiwi accent) which is a good thing :D

I can't go to Rin's tomorrow because my parents have CONFINED me in my room to study :(. For some reason my dad's voice pops into my ear "THERE'S TIME FOR FUN AND TIME FOR WORK" XD I guess Daddy's right ><
