RUBIK'S CUBE.



i was inspired by the Pursuit of Happyness(starring Will Smith and his son) and decided to buy a Rubik's Cube to try it out. Just a simple 3 x 3 x 3, i was willing to get all the sides the right colour, but after a day or two, i GAVE UP. XD

The HISTORY of Rubik's Wonderful Cube :

Rubik's Cube (commonly misspelled rubix, rubick's or rubics cube) is a mechanical puzzle invented in 1974 by the Hungarian sculptor and professor of architecture Ernő Rubik. Originally called the "Magic Cube" by its inventor, this puzzle was renamed "Rubik's Cube" by Ideal Toys in 1980 and also won the 1980 German "Game of the Year" (Spiel des Jahres) special award for Best Puzzle. i think it's an amazing invention. it tests your skills and really DRILLS your brain. i bought it at this japanese shop for about QR $ 5.50 (RM 5.50) a few days ago. just a few hours of playing it, i broke one side coz i was so stressed XD. But unsurprisingly, there are some really smart people who can figure it out within minutes and for example, Will Smith himself! He appeared on Oprah some time ago and Oprah didn't believe him when he said he did that by himself during the movie. She gave him a Rubik's cube and he managed to get all the sides and colours right within seconds!

it's something like SUDOKU if you ask me. but sudoku is much simpler.
