SELFISHNESS.

such a small word yet holds such extraordinary meaning.




What does it mean to you?

Don't you just get annoyed when people or your friends take ADVANTAGE of you?


take advantage of you for their OWN GOOD.

what kinda friends do YOU call that?


SELFISH. PURE SELFISHNESS. that's what it is.


WHY are humans so selfish? you tell me.


there's always gotta be some corruption in the world. the world is not perfect. neither are you or
am i.


SELFISHNESS leads to GREEDINESS. it's all connected. Fortunately, i know many people who are really unselfish that they would sacrifice anything for their family and friends. but you know, if you are TOO unselfish, people would take advantage of you. so in a way, you have to be balanced in both selfish and unselfish. think about others without forgetting about yourself.


For example :
YOU try hard to help a friend, but to what limit? and to what extent? You can only help your friend so much but you can't solve his/her problems. and if you give the right advice to your friend who doesn't wanna follow it or even refuse to do it... you also have to know what's best for yourself.


i'm not being judgemental nor am i trying to hurt anyone. i'm just saying it from my point of view. if your friends trust and appreciate you, they would respect you and your time as well as your patience and kind words.

Sometimes i ask myself why i even bother to help people who have no direction or is in need for help. i never like to see anyone left out of the crowd. and i find myself mixing with 'different' people. the beauty of the world is that everyone is so different from one another if you put aside all the world's cruelties. in school, you find EMO kids, SPOILT kids, NERDS, and etc. just because a person is different from you doesn't mean you have to LEAVE THAT KID out of your so-called GANG. but sometimes it depends. if the person's attitude is TERRIBLE, then i guess its time for he/her to change for the better.

wait, wait! all the above are still connected to selfishness.

You ask ME why i bother to even talk about selfishness?

well. the answer is clear. i am trying to URGE to people not to be selfish and help each other out without EXPECTING A REWARD. friends do favours for each other.

Conclusion : i LOVE my friends =D
