"She told me what you said. That I am a dishonest, useless son of a b*tch. Is this true?" he said, anger on his face.
I looked at him, quite shocked, and calmly said:
"Well, up to you."
"What is that s'posed to mean?"
"Depends on who you wanna trust."
He looked blank. He was expecting me to say "No, I would never say that!" like most people do, when they are accused of something.
Friendship is something you lose easily if you can't be trusted.
There was a moment of silence. I smiled at him and said:
"Is it so hard to choose?"
"No... It's not. I was just quite shocked. But I know you wouldn't say stuff like that about me."
And that's how we've learnt a lesson from each other. :)
