The Love Story

She admires the way he glides through the corridors, the way he struts. Slow motion, his hair floats in the air like crisps of sunlight. His eyes a glistening blue; a never-ending enigma.

She keeps her head down, noticing the stains on her dress, imperfect nail polish, uncombed hair. She rushes to the door, making sure she would't slip when she reached.

She feels something on her shoulder and looks back. He patted her with his smooth, God-like palm and smiles. His smile accompanied by his white sparkling teeth.

She returns his smile, her body trembling. He says hello, she says hello.

They stop for a moment, taking their time to study each others' faces. He notices the blemishes on her face. She notices his mesmerizing, deep eyes.

She turns away and continues to walk. He wouldn't look at me, she thinks.

He wouldn't look at me, she thinks.

She turns back to look at him, getting her last glance. He's gone. Vanished. Completely out of sight.

She lets out a sigh and continues to walk.
